Is there a way to share rules defined on one node to other nodes? The rules section clearly is lacking a 'distribute' function that exists for other $U objects. Are they contained in a text or database file that can be copied?
It seems a real shame to have defined a whole bunch of rules to have to recreate them with all the risk of typos etc.

Ok, after posting this I found the UXEXT and UXINS with the RUL switch. Isn't that always the way!

Hello Paul,
yes you found the best way to proceed - export/import.
When the export/import of Rules was not available (V500 with patch level lower than SPRE0025), I used a workaround, copying the file from my Reference Node to the other Nodes. The file is the u_fmrl50 (2 files in fact with the .dta and .idx) in the root directory of Dollar Universe. After copying the file, I stopped the Company on the target Nodes to run a reorganization to rebuild the idx file. The drawbacks of this workaround are that it is heavier than an export/import and that any pre-exisiting rule on the target nodes will be deleted.
