Hello,

as we have several topics mentioning the use or possibility to use the "ux_raz_fic", here are some explanations and comments:

ux_raz_fic/uxrazfic (depending on the OS) allows to reinitialize a Dollar Universe data file. It empties the data file and the associated index file.

ux_raz_fic/uxrazfic should only be used for a corrupted data file - the reorganization can only retrieve corrupted index files.

In some specific cases, the ux_raz_fic can be used to reinitialize a data file when it has become too large and cannot be purged or causes very poor response time or disk space issues.

Dollar Access (Orsyp technical support) recommend not to use ux_raz_fic/uxrazfic without their prior agreement and a safety backup.
