Etiquette and Guidelines
This forum has been created with the intention of providing a comfortable place for people to exchange ideas and share information about / related to ORSYP, ORSYP solutions, ORSYP services... This forum is maintained in the spirit and members are expected to honor these rules. The basic guide to etiquette is this: be polite, keep language as clean as possible and respect the opinions of others (even if you disagree).
Anyone not following these guidelines may find their posts deleted and risk being banned if the problem continues. If you notice any posts that do not adhere to these guidelines, please notify the forum administrator by email.
We encourage all members regardless of ability or experience, to read over our community etiquette prior to posting.
Politeness
We recommend that everyone must treat others as they would like to be treated. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Members may be warned after a first offense; repeated offenses may get them banned from the board.

Unpaid advertising of products, services, resources for hire, or open positions are strictly not allowed. ORSYP may provide such services for a minimal fee in the future, but make no guarantees to do so.
However, if a member has successfully implemented a third-party solution to a particular problem, others will want to hear about it; we therefore authorize this kind of message.
Members may not use the Forum just to direct other members to websites in which they have a commercial interest in. Including commission or referral hyperlinks as well as others. You may not post such links, nor may you use them in your signature.
Posts topics
Posts unrelated to the forum topics are not allowed and will be deleted by the moderator. ORSYP's User Forum is dedicated to functional issues, not technical questions which are handled by ORSYP's support team, Dollar Access (http://www.orsyp.com/services/support_login.asp.)
Message content
In order to be perfectly clear and well understood, we suggest you:
- Post only one question per topic
- Provide as much detail as you can. Include a short description of your IT environment, the version of the product you're having trouble with and everything you think might help. Attach screen shots or other files if you think it might be useful.
- Keep posts as simple as possible, as users will not necessarily all be experts.
- Use informative titles that give a clear indication of the content of the post.
If you have resolved your issue, please explain how as it can be useful for others.
Cross-posting
Cross-posting the same message on multiple forums is not allowed. If you aren't sure where to post your question, put it in the most likely spot. The moderator may move or even split your topic if deemed appropriate.
"Me Too" Posting
A "me too" post is a post that doesn't add anything to the discussion. If more than one solution or viewpoint has been presented, feel free to take a side and be sure to state the reasons why you are taking that viewpoint. Saying "me too" or "I agree" without providing supporting details does not really add value.
Post "Bumping"
Bumping is defined as posting two or more posts in succession without adding anything new to the issue you are trying to address. If you were the last person to add post to your topic then you can edit that last post to add additional information if you feel the need to do so. Post bumping is considered spam, and such posts are subject to being removed by the board moderators.
Emailing instead of posting
Our member list is not a resource to be used by any individuals, groups, or businesses. Members may make their email address public on this board, but that does not give the right to collect the addresses and use them for your own purpose. However, we recommend not to email a user but to go on a discussion board; as otherwise, the other members will not have the opportunity to share your ideas and this is the purpose of a forum.
Language
English and French languages are authorized. Nevertheless, as we are an international forum with users from all over the world. English or French may not be the primary language of some users.
